Human Resources Manager

Location: Fully onsite at hirify.global headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, USA

Salary: $120,000–$145,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, SOPs, and employee lifecycle programs.
• Administer onboarding, employee records, benefits, leave, compensation, performance management, employee relations, investigations, and separations.
• Manage compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws for a multi-state government contractor.
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize HRIS, onboarding, electronic I-9, background screening, document management, and other HR technology solutions.
• Develop workforce metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting to support decision-making.
• Partner with executive leadership, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Operations, IT, and managers on organizational development and process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least five years of progressive Human Resources management experience supporting a multi-state workforce.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and experience with HRIS platforms and HR technology implementation or optimization.
• Experience with employee relations, benefits, leave administration, performance management, compensation, compliance, and HR operations.
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and strong organizational, analytical, communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Arlington, Virginia; certain positions may require U.S. citizenship.

Nice to have

• Government or federal government contracting experience.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
• Experience with electronic onboarding, electronic I-9 administration, background screening systems, dashboards, workforce metrics, and organizational change initiatives.
