Facilities Manager (Bioprocessing)

Location: Clifton Park, New York, United States; onsite role with on-call and emergency support requirements

Salary: $119,000–$146,300 per year, plus potential bonus, commission, and equity eligibility

What you will do

• Lead daily Facilities and maintenance operations for the manufacturing site, prioritizing safety, compliance, reliability, and production continuity.
• Lead Facilities personnel and coordinate contractors, service providers, vendors, landlords, and service agreements.
• Maintain HVAC/BMS, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, mechanical, life-safety, security, and other building systems.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support for injection molding, silicone extrusion, and electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Manage CMMS activities, preventive and corrective maintenance, calibrations, work orders, asset records, and critical spare parts.
• Manage capital projects, operating expenses, emergency repairs, shutdowns, compliance activities, safety programs, reliability improvements, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive Facilities, industrial maintenance, facilities engineering, or manufacturing experience, including leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong mechanical and electro-mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, controls, industrial equipment, BMS, and CMMS.
• Experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment and ISO-classified cleanrooms, including environmental controls, pressure cascades, HEPA filtration, and qualification or requalification.
• Experience with GMP environments, preventive maintenance, calibration, vendors, contractors, projects, and operating or capital budgets.
• Knowledge of OSHA, LOTO, NFPA 70E, and applicable safety requirements; ability to read technical manuals, drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, ability to participate in on-call and emergency support, and ability to access mechanical areas, climb stairs or ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Trade licensing or advanced experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls/PLC, or related disciplines.
• Experience with injection molding and extrusion equipment.
