Senior Data Scientist (AI/ML)

Salary: $102,400–$179,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Develop advanced data science, machine learning, and AI solutions for complex healthcare and business problems.
• Conduct exploratory and predictive analyses across large, disparate data sources.
• Design and refine LLM-enabled workflows, including retrieval-augmented generation, prompt optimization, and model evaluation.
• Build production-ready AI/ML workflows involving model orchestration, API integration, data processing, deployment, and optimization.
• Transform clinical, financial, operational, claims, and electronic medical record data into standardized analytical assets.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, technology, clinical, and business stakeholders and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Five or more years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python and experience applying statistical methods, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
• Experience with large language models, natural language processing, or generative AI, including RAG, model evaluation, hallucination mitigation, or prompt optimization.
• Experience integrating AI/ML solutions with APIs, data pipelines, enterprise applications, analytics products, or data platforms.
• Ability to work with large, complex datasets and communicate analytical concepts to technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Healthcare data experience is strongly preferred, including claims, electronic medical record, financial, billing, operational, or hospital performance data.

Nice to have

• Experience with R, SAS, AWS, Azure, Palantir Foundry, or comparable platforms.
• Relevant degree.
• Experience with Epic Clarity/Caboodle, Cerner CCL-Discern/PowerInsight, or Palantir Foundry.
