Manager Material Flow (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and execute end-to-end material flow strategies for manufacturing and distribution operations.
• Design and implement four-wall PFEP, raw material supermarkets, delivery routes, and standardized material presentation.
• Manage inbound supplier materials, finished goods shipping, inventory levels, pull signals, and material control processes.
• Deploy WIP optimizers and pull-based scheduling systems for sequencing, changeovers, and quantities between assembly and sub-assembly.
• Establish KPIs using MDI and visual management to monitor throughput, inventory accuracy, and cash flow.
• Lead warehouse process improvements involving staging, picking, cycle counting, barcoding, RFID, WMS capabilities, and fill-rate improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive supply chain experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with material control systems and processes.
• At least 5 years of Lean material and information flow experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop supply chain teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, including strong Excel skills.
