Director, HR Operations & Benefits

Location: Rohnert Park, California, United States

Salary: $200,000–$280,000 yearly base compensation, plus bonus and equity

What you will do

• Lead and develop the HR Operations team, promoting accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
• Oversee the ADP HRIS and related systems, including architecture, maintenance, optimization, data integrity, reporting, and analytics.
• Design and administer global health, welfare, retirement, and wellness benefit programs while managing vendors, brokers, consultants, contracts, and renewals.
• Maintain global policies and handbooks and oversee compliance with local, state, federal, and international employment regulations.
• Manage immigration, visa sponsorship, international relocation, and employee mobility processes.
• Partner with Finance and Legal on payroll, tax filings, audits, billing reconciliations, SOX, and ISO-related processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressively senior HR Operations or Benefits leadership experience in a public company.
• Advanced HRIS configuration, reporting, and analytics expertise; ADP experience is preferred.
• Deep experience with global benefits, leave management, immigration, and international compliance.
• Experience managing and scaling global processes and developing direct reports in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience building AI-driven workflows and automation for HR Operations.

Nice to have

• SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.
• Experience with ADP.
