Content Data Structure Specialist (AI)

Location: Draper, Utah, United States. Location-flexible work may be performed from a home, a nearby office, or in a hybrid arrangement, subject to eligible US locations and role requirements.

Base hourly pay: $21.00–$26.00 per hour, with eligibility for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Actual pay varies by geographic region and experience.

What you will do

• Gather, transform, and standardize raw family-history data and metadata into ingestible assets for internal and external systems.
• Prepare data for database import and export structured data for external partners.
• Design and implement scalable workflow improvements for content production.
• Manage multiple data-collection projects, milestones, and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in data files, SQL templates, and database tables.
• Use AI tools to automate repetitive work, develop custom tools, and resolve workflow bottlenecks while supporting team onboarding and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Professional experience using AI to develop custom tools.
• Deep expertise in MySQL databases, Excel, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, data-accuracy, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage deliverables, and learn new tools with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for a global team environment.
• Must work from an eligible US location; the role may be office-based, remote, or hybrid depending on location and role requirements.

Nice to have

• Basic exposure to AWS or GCP.
• Basic Python or Java knowledge and familiarity with Git.
• Interest in automation, logging, and workflow tools.
• Experience or interest in genealogy, family history, or historical data.
