Senior Accountant, Project and Cost Accounting

hirify.global is scaling manufacturing operations for its Titan printer platform and building cost accounting infrastructure alongside its construction business.

What you will do

• Execute ASC 606 revenue recognition across hirify.global's income streams and prepare contract asset and liability disclosures.
• Perform project accounting for construction projects using percentage-of-completion and milestone-based methods.
• Prepare project-level P&Ls, track costs, analyze variances, and monitor margin trends.
• Execute the monthly close for manufacturing and project accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial statement schedules.
• Oversee labor and cost allocation methodologies and support audit readiness through schedules, workpapers, and documentation.
• Improve accounting workflows, controls, reporting, and ERP processes as operations scale.

Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting experience with direct exposure to cost accounting, project accounting, or construction accounting.
• CPA required or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
• Hands-on experience with percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams during a fast-moving monthly close.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, FP&A, project management, and business line leaders.

Nice to have

• Construction, manufacturing, or government contracting experience.
• NetSuite experience.
