Senior Cost Accountant/Analyst

Company

DRC Heat Transfer designs and manufactures custom heat transfer and cooling solutions for power generators used in data centers and operates as a subsidiary of Smiths Group PLC.

What you will do

• Support month-end and year-end close processes, consolidated financial statements, balance-sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Implement financial strategies, budgets, forecasts, cost analysis, revenue forecasts, and scenario planning.
• Establish and monitor internal controls to protect assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Manage customer and supplier setup, commission payments, accounts receivable and accounts payable support, fixed assets, and capital expenditures.
• Reconcile inventory and physical counts in collaboration with Warehouse, Operations, and IT teams.
• Support finance process-improvement initiatives and the integration of a privately held organization into a publicly traded Smiths Group subsidiary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a senior accountant, preferably in manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, financial management practices, and GAAP.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• MBA and/or CPA qualification.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
