Software Engineer II (C#/.NET/React)

Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota, United States

Salary: $100,000–$110,000 per year, with geographic adjustments where applicable.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications using C#, .NET, React, and TypeScript.
• Own assigned features and technical problems from investigation through implementation, delivery, and production support.
• Analyze requirements and contribute to technical design and implementation decisions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, architects, and developers to deliver maintainable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development practices, application quality, and engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot application issues, investigate root causes, identify technical risks, and communicate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant professional software development experience, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, REST APIs, SQL Server or other relational databases, and Git.
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles and software development best practices.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging software applications.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Nice to have

• Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar development lifecycle tools.
• Experience developing automated unit and integration tests.
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT and enterprise application support.
