Senior Python Engineer (Generative AI)

Location: Hybrid in Buenos Aires, Argentina

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Python backend services integrating Generative AI and LLM capabilities.
• Build scalable, secure, production-ready AI applications aligned with business requirements.
• Implement RAG architectures using vector databases and semantic search solutions.
• Create and maintain AI pipelines, APIs, and agent-based frameworks.
• Optimize prompts, embeddings, and token usage to balance cost and performance.
• Ensure observability, monitoring, validation, documentation, and collaboration across product, engineering, and business teams.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of backend or software engineering experience with a Python focus.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, LLMs, RAG, and LangChain.
• Strong software engineering and cloud-native development fundamentals.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, vector databases, cloud storage, Azure or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Terraform.
• Advanced skills in prompt engineering, embeddings, optimization, and designing RAG or agent-based architectures.
• Knowledge of AI security practices, including access control, input sanitization, and prompt-injection prevention.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI pipelines with Azure Data Factory or Event Hub.
• Exposure to enterprise AI solutions such as Microsoft Copilot or Gemini.
