Senior AI Product Engineer (Climate Tech)

Location: Remote from Latin America, with overlap required with US/Austin afternoon–evening hours and at least 4 hours daily with CET mornings

What you will do

• Own product feature delivery from ambiguous business outcomes through production deployment.
• Write clean, scalable, production-grade code across the stack as needed.
• Integrate AI and LLM-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and ChatGPT.
• Build features for real-time, component-level data processing and reporting.
• Translate product outcomes into technical approaches, execution plans, and measurable success criteria.
• Document decisions and communicate progress, blockers, and context in an async-first distributed environment.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or founding-engineer capacity.
• Proven ability to independently own features from ambiguous requirements through production deployment at an early-stage company.
• Full-stack development experience and hands-on use of AI/LLM-assisted development tools.
• Experience working in fully remote, distributed engineering teams with async-first documentation and communication.
• Availability for overlap with US/Austin afternoons and CET mornings, including a minimum 4-hour daily overlap with the European team.
• English proficiency at C1+ CEFR.

Nice to have

• Experience in climate tech, carbon accounting, lifecycle assessment, electronics, or supply chain software.
• Founding-engineer or early technical-hire experience, especially before Series A.
• Experience with enterprise B2B SaaS products and product roadmap or strategy decisions.
