Reporting Accountant

Location: Hybrid, two days per week in either the London or Cambridge office, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Support accurate, consistent, and timely internal and external financial reporting.
• Assist with annual consolidated financial statement disclosures and compliant statutory accounts for the group and its subsidiaries.
• Maintain reporting procedures, internal documentation, policies, controls, and authorization matrices.
• Support the design and implementation of scalable finance processes and internal controls.
• Conduct process reviews, control assessments, and risk-based improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the UK finance team and contribute to reporting and controls projects.

Requirements

• Strong technical accounting knowledge; ACA, ACCA, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience preparing or supporting consolidated financial statements and statutory accounts.
• Understanding of internal controls, financial reporting frameworks, and risk assessment.
• Experience with finance process reviews, self-assessments, or control testing.
• Strong documentation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
