Director Quality Program Management (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead and develop Quality Program Managers supporting New Glenn, Engines, Lunar Permanence, and emerging programs.
• Set the QPM competency model, career architecture, quality standards, and continuous-improvement priorities.
• Serve as the senior quality interface for business-unit leaders, program directors, customers, chief engineers, and executive reviews.
• Drive quality planning through APQP, FMEA, integrated schedules, quality hold points, corrective actions, and program review gates.
• Use data analytics and artificial intelligence to establish leading quality indicators and identify emerging risks.
• Partner with supplier quality, site quality, mission assurance, customers, and certification bodies to improve compliance, RCCA, and production quality.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree.
• 10+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, testing, or operations; 15+ years preferred.
• Experience leading or working with quality management systems, including AS9100, ISO 9000, or related programs.
• Quality assurance or manufacturing experience across design and development, production, and maintenance environments.
• Strong leadership, planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee due to export control regulations.

Nice to have

• MBA.
• Experience in aerospace, space launch, military, or commercial aviation.
• Knowledge of design for inspection or testability and metrology equipment.
• Experience in matrix-led organizations and both small or midsized and large firms.
