What you will do

  • Lead manufacturing engineering and technology activities for the Jacksonville implant manufacturing site.
  • Develop manufacturing strategies and technology roadmaps to improve product quality, cost, throughput, yield, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage manufacturing equipment assets across the full life cycle and establish maintenance and obsolescence strategies.
  • Plan and execute engineering and capital projects, including investment evaluation, financial planning, scheduling, and performance reporting.
  • Ensure process development, validation, design of experiments, statistical analysis, and compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and applicable quality systems.
  • Lead engineering priorities across the Jacksonville site and the Global Implant Platform Engineering organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • At least eight years of relevant business experience, including five or more years in medical devices, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or another life sciences industry.
  • Experience with manufacturing equipment and process development, design and implementation, project planning, scheduling, and capital project management.
  • Experience leading multifunctional engineering teams in an FDA-regulated or comparable regulated environment.
  • Proven ability to develop technical business cases and deliver measurable industrial improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of process validation, design of experiments, statistical analysis, equipment maintenance, stakeholder management, and people leadership.
