Production Supervisor (Medical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Supervise production operators and engineers and support the site manufacturing strategy.
• Oversee production-line efficiency, standardization, organization, and cleanliness.
• Ensure product quality and compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, OSHA, EHS, and company requirements.
• Analyze process performance to reduce defects and scrap and improve yields and energy consumption.
• Lead or participate in problem-solving for complaints, defects, scrap, and productivity issues.
• Collaborate with the site manager and cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in the medical industry, including 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge of ISO and quality systems, FDA, and OSHA requirements.
• Experience with manufacturing systems, process monitoring, data collection, audits, and advanced metrics.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, lean coach, or related medical-industry certification.
