Production Supervisor II (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Assign production operators to jobs according to production and workload schedules.
• Direct material preparation, screening, blending, pelleting, and assembly processes for explosive preparation.
• Monitor production quality and ensure the correct use of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Train team members on hazardous waste handling and enforce applicable safety regulations.
• Build positive employee morale, maintain discipline, and coordinate issue resolution with senior management.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and use process, equipment, and materials expertise to troubleshoot operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s degree or higher is preferred.
• At least 2 years of related experience in a production setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures, process data, write reports, and make sound decisions.
• Knowledge of ISO Quality Systems and continuous improvement tools including Process Maps, SPC, FMEA, and Control Plans.
• Valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or current federally compliant passport required.
• Successful completion of a background screening and regular work at the company office or worksite are required.
