Cloud Services Consulting Intern (Microsoft Azure/AWS)

Location: Des Moines, United States; travel to assigned client locations is required, with up to 25% travel

What you will do

• Support and troubleshoot workstations, servers, networks, hardware, and software for multiple clients.
• Administer Office 365, Windows Servers, workstations, Azure AD, SharePoint, and Teams environments.
• Develop IT operations plans and support advanced Windows Server and workstation environments.
• Implement or upgrade infrastructure technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, HP, VMware, NetApp, Nimble, and Meraki.
• Support collaboration deployments involving VoIP telephony, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.
• Assist with cloud migrations to Microsoft Azure and AWS, infrastructure assessments, and IT audits.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related IT concentration.
• Passion for technology and willingness to learn in a hands-on consulting environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Apple and Windows software, and hardware.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations and arrange reliable transportation; travel may reach 25%.
• Entry-level candidates requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Experience with Office 365, email, SharePoint, firewalls, VMware ESX, vSphere, Windows Servers, Azure AD, Teams, Citrix, Remote Desktop Services, VPNs, or enterprise mobile devices.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
