R&D Spring Co-Op (MedTech)

Location: Raritan, New Jersey, United States; laboratory-based onsite role

Salary: $23.50–$52.50 per hour, based on program year, discipline, degree, and experience.

What you will do

• Perform polymer characterization and wet chemistry experiments under the supervision of laboratory scientists.
• Execute analytical methods and procedures supporting new product development and lifecycle management.
• Prepare and test samples, collect and analyze data, record laboratory notebooks, and report results.
• Manage samples submitted by the stability group and maintain related data records.
• Participate in new product development project teams and collaborate with cross-functional R&D associates.
• Follow required safety protocols for chemical laboratory work.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a BA/BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
• Must not be graduating before the end of the Spring 2027 program, unless able to extend the graduation date.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Basic chemistry laboratory skills are required; bench chemistry experience is preferred.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, with reliable transportation to the Raritan workplace.
