Location: St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Salary: $55,000–$70,000 per year

KIPP St. Louis is a public charter school network serving students from PreK through 12th grade and supporting their college, career, and postsecondary pathways.

What you will do

  • Advise and coach alumni across college, career and technical education, military, and workforce pathways.
  • Manage an alumni caseload, conduct consistent outreach, and develop individualized persistence plans.
  • Monitor enrollment, academic progress, financial aid, engagement, and other persistence indicators.
  • Support seniors and recent graduates through matriculation and summer transition requirements.
  • Connect alumni with scholarships, campus resources, internships, employment, and community support.
  • Build partnerships with postsecondary institutions and collaborate on programming, events, FAFSA initiatives, and transition activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least three years of successful experience working with students or young adults, preferably in communities historically underserved by postsecondary systems.
  • Strong relationship-building, advising, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, student needs, deadlines, and a caseload.
  • Ability to use data to identify needs, monitor progress, and inform student support.
  • Willingness to participate in occasional evening, weekend, and off-site programming.

Nice to have

  • Experience with postsecondary access, transition, and persistence across college, CTE, credential, military, and workforce pathways.
  • Knowledge of FAFSA, financial aid, scholarships, academic standing, summer melt, and career readiness.
