Senior Manager, Payroll (EMEA)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations for hourly and salaried employees across the EMEA region.
• Manage, coach, and develop the regional payroll team while establishing accountability and service standards.
• Oversee payroll processing in Workday and through third-party providers, including quarter-end and year-end activities.
• Maintain payroll governance, internal controls, policies, and compliance with SOX, tax, audit, and local regulatory requirements.
• Partner with HR, Finance, business leaders, and vendors to resolve payroll issues and deliver reporting, analysis, audit documentation, and controls testing support.
• Standardize, automate, and continuously improve payroll processes across the region.

Requirements

• Substantial payroll and HR operations experience.
• Experience leading and developing people.
• Hands-on knowledge of Workday or a comparable payroll platform.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Experience managing complex payroll matters, including commissions, stock-related transactions, exceptions, taxation, and country-specific requirements.
• Experience in a shared services environment, continuous improvement, LEAN or Six Sigma methods, or automation is valuable.
