Technician Manufacturing, Fill & Pack (Rotating Shifts)

Location: Guayama, Puerto Rico; onsite role with rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Fill & Pack equipment used for liquid anesthetic packaging.
• Perform preventive maintenance, document repairs in work orders, and manage spare-parts procedures.
• Maintain and update programmable logic controllers and support packaging-equipment software changes.
• Assist operators with minor troubleshooting, adjustments, engineering trials, and product or equipment qualification.
• Train setup operators and mechanics and provide backup coverage for the Lead Technician.
• Operate manufacturing equipment and participate in emergency response activities while following GMP and GDP procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand English and Spanish.
• Technical diploma or associate degree; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or equipment operations.
• Knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, power distribution, basic pneumatics and hydraulics, machine troubleshooting, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, EHS, TPM, and TPR requirements, with the ability to interpret maintenance, repair, inspection, and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, computer literacy, and the ability to operate automatic and semi-automatic equipment.
