Software Engineer Co-op (AI)

hirify.global builds a cloud-based ERP platform for manufacturing job shops, providing operational visibility, automated order entry, and intelligent reporting.

What you will do

• Collect requirements from deployment specialists, support, sales, and customer feedback sources.
• Develop ERP features using AI-native workflows with Claude Code or Cursor.
• Work with tech leads on architecture and data model design.
• Support larger engineering efforts through iterative loops and multiple agents.
• Create test plans, test workflows thoroughly, and collaborate with QA on feedback.
• Monitor operational logs and product metrics to improve features.

Requirements

• Available for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week co-op term onsite in Calumet, Michigan.
• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Coursework or project experience with SQL and data model design.
• Development experience with React or a similar web application framework.
• Interest in or experience with AI-native development.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; action-oriented and self-directed approach.

• Experience with AI looping.

• Docker experience.
• DataDog experience.
