Product Engineer (TypeScript/Node/React)

Location: Hybrid; roles are currently employable in the United States, with specific roles also employable in the United Kingdom. UK eligibility for this role must be confirmed through the indicated role location.

Base pay: $163,800–$306,000 per year for candidates based in the United States, plus potential equity and/or commission depending on the position.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end projects that improve hirify.global’s core Apps product.
• Build and improve the architectural foundations for how applications are built, loaded, and persisted.
• Partner with product, design, and internal stakeholders to develop and iterate features.
• Improve platform scalability and performance.
• Debug and resolve customer problems.
• Help assess and recruit future engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack web development experience.
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript proficiency and comfort navigating the full stack.
• Experience owning technically challenging, cross-functional projects.
• Experience collaborating with product managers and/or designers.
• Ability to make technical decisions quickly while involving key stakeholders.
• Customer-first mindset and willingness to engage with customers.

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience mentoring team members.
