Manufacturing Associate I/II - Night Shift (Downstream)

Location: USA - NC - Durham - National Way. Full-time, onsite role on a 2-2-3 schedule from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Salary: $24.00–$31.25 per hour, plus a shift differential.

What you will do

• Execute downstream purification of cell culture products through bulk fill using chromatography, filtration, and viral reduction techniques.
• Perform aseptic processing in cleanroom environments, including gowning and cleaning procedures.
• Operate chromatography systems with Cytiva UNICORN, ultrafiltration/diafiltration systems, analytical tools, and other biotechnology equipment.
• Document manufacturing activities in SRs, EPRs, batch records, SOPs, and forms according to Good Documentation Practices.
• Verify materials, equipment, and production records for completeness, accountability, and GxP compliance.
• Maintain equipment according to SOPs and participate in room 5S activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Experience in a regulated industry or demonstrated knowledge of downstream or purification unit operations.
• Ability to follow written instructions and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work a 12-hour schedule that includes weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to work onsite at the Durham, North Carolina facility.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related scientific or engineering discipline.
• Biowork certification.
• Experience with single-use platform technology or a CDMO.
