Underwriting Intern - E&S Property - Summer 2027 (Insurance)

What you will do

• Support underwriters with pre-qualifying accounts submitted by broker partners.
• Prepare property accounts for modelling within required timeframes.
• Maintain accurate account statuses throughout the underwriting lifecycle.
• Help ensure timely responses and customer service for broker partners.
• Attend speaker sessions, training, and program meetings related to E&S Property underwriting.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to analyze, simplify, and explain complex issues at both overview and detailed levels.
• Basic understanding of Power BI and Adobe.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
