Underwriting Summer Internship - Hamilton, NJ (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid position in Hamilton, New Jersey; applicants must be within commuting distance of the office.

Salary: USD 22.00–25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support underwriting activities throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Assist with new business quoting, policy issuance, renewals, and endorsements.
• Use resource materials and business programs to complete assigned projects.
• Gain exposure to underwriting, risk management, internal audit, and claims.

Requirements

• Must be a current college student; students graduating in 2028 are preferred.
• Full-time undergraduate juniors or seniors are ideal candidates.
• High school diploma required.
• Demonstrated interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Applicants must be able to perform at a professional level.

Nice to have

• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Eligibility to earn college credit based on institutional requirements.
