Corporate Underwriting Summer Internship (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid; applicants must be within commuting distance of Branchville, New Jersey or Short Hills, New Jersey

Salary: USD $22.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support strategic business unit projects focused on specific industry groups.
• Research, analyze, and recommend actions for projects involving customer-base expansion and new product offerings.
• Evaluate underwriting information and insurance product offerings.
• Use analytical, marketing, and presentation skills to support corporate underwriting and regional field offices.
• Contribute to projects supporting growth and profitability across lines of business including General Liability, Property, Automobile, Workers Compensation, Inland Marine, and BOP.

Requirements

• Must be a current college student.
• High school diploma required; full-time undergraduate juniors or seniors are preferred.
• Interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Internet Explorer.
• Must be able to commute to Branchville, NJ or Short Hills, NJ for the hybrid position.
