Summer 2027 E&S Wholesale Underwriting Intern (Insurance)

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona, United States; onsite from June to August 2027

What you will do

• Participate in department and company meetings, classroom sessions, and on-the-desk underwriting training.
• Apply insurance products and coverage knowledge to support internal and external stakeholders.
• Network with business partners to understand how the business operates.
• Complete projects with other underwriting interns to drive business results.
• Perform additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance, finance, marketing, business management, accounting, actuarial science, data analytics, or a related field.
• Completion of junior year is preferred.
• Exposure to insurance and risk management concepts.
• Problem-solving, analytical judgment, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
• Student activities or work experience; a GPA of 3.0 or higher is desired.
