TL;DR
Project Manager (Software Development) (Software Delivery): Managing complex software development projects for client applications with an accent on scope, budgets, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines. Location: Remote from Latin America; based in Aguascalientes, Mexico, with overlap of US business hours

What you will do
- Manage multiple concurrent software development workstreams covering scope, budgets, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
- Plan and control critical paths, buffers, milestones, gates, and client-facing acceptance criteria for fixed external deadlines.
- Maintain dependency and risk registers, coordinate escalation paths, and manage change-control processes.
- Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
- Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and provide project status updates to clients, executives, and other stakeholders.
- Translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences while resolving conflicts and protecting delivery commitments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
- Experience delivering large, complex systems with distributed engineering teams and managing fixed, immovable deadlines.
- Experience with project risks, dependencies, change control, client communication, and third-party vendor coordination.
- Experience with Jira, Asana, or similar project management and tracking tools.
- Ability to overlap US business hours and work remotely from Latin America.
- Bachelor’s degree, strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, accountability, and attention to detail.
Nice to have
- PMP, CSM, or PSM certification.
- Experience with regulatory or compliance requirements, including legal sign-offs and statutory deadlines.
- Experience with nearshore US–Latin America delivery teams.
