EV Project Manager (LV/HV)

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of LV and HV EV infrastructure projects, including design, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate clients, DNOs, ICPs, contractors, engineers, site teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee DNO contestable and non-contestable works, grid connection applications, design reviews, and technical submissions.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, resources, contracts, suppliers, and performance reporting.
• Prepare and review RAMS, method statements, permits, drawings, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSQE policies, CDM regulations, DNO standards, ENA requirements, and client specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing LV and HV electrical infrastructure projects, preferably up to 33kV.
• Experience working with or for a DNO or Independent Connection Provider.
• Strong knowledge of DNO/IDNO standards, grid connection processes, and ENA requirements.
• Experience delivering EV charging, renewable energy, or grid connection projects.
• HNC, HND, or degree in Electrical or Power Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Full UK driving licence; SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant HV authorisations are advantageous.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD, Primavera P6, or MS Project.
• Knowledge of ICP accreditation processes and contestable works.
• Exposure to battery storage, solar PV, or decarbonisation projects.
• Strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management, and contract management skills.
