What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug abuse counseling and group sessions.
• Complete patient intakes, readmissions, assessments, supportive follow-up, and referrals.
• Develop and revise treatment plans while maintaining comprehensive patient records.
• Provide crisis intervention, coordinate care with community providers, and deliver OBOT services.
• Orient patients to treatment procedures and support their social, educational, occupational, and recovery goals.
• Follow regulatory and accrediting standards, participate in training, and support program improvements.

Requirements

• Active substance abuse or social work certification or licensure for the state of Michigan is required.
• LMSW, LPC, or equivalent applicable license or certification.
• Knowledge of substance abuse populations, treatment planning, human behavior, and social services.
• Ability to make sound decisions, handle confidential information, respond effectively in stressful situations, and seek supervisory guidance when needed.
• Compliance with federal and state certification, licensure, degree, and regulatory requirements.
