Associate H&S Consultant (Health & Safety)

What you will do

• Assist and manage a team of health and safety professionals.
• Provide quality assurance, compliance, and best-practice advice to public- and private-sector clients.
• Conduct general health and safety compliance and topic-specific audits.
• Investigate incidents and report findings.
• Support PQQ and bid documentation.
• Help develop the health and safety service and contribute to management financial reporting.

Requirements

• Degree-level education in a construction-related subject.
• Chartered membership of IOSH, such as CMIOSH or FIIRSM.
• Incorporated membership of the Association for Project Safety, working toward CMaPS certification.
• Experience in health and safety, CDM management, construction, consultancy, and Principal Designer work at client and designer level.
• Good working knowledge of UK CDM Regulations.
• Ability to manage diverse projects with minimal supervision and influence clients and contractors toward industry best practice.

Nice to have

• Training delivery qualifications or experience, including IOSH, APS, CDM, Principal Designer, CITB, SMSTS, SSSTS, or health and safety awareness courses.
