What you will do

• Plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based health promotion strategies, policies, programs, and services for students.
• Develop mental health promotion plans, goals, objectives, educational content, learning resources, and evaluation tools.
• Collaborate with student leaders, staff, community partners, and other health educators on multidisciplinary initiatives.
• Provide health trainings, workshops, presentations, individual behavior-change sessions, and small-group discussions.
• Collect student health surveys and training data, maintain records, identify trends, and evaluate program effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Public Health, Health Promotion, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of related experience.
• Knowledge of health education principles, health promotion needs, and word-processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical, multitasking, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations, trainings, behavior-change sessions, and group discussions.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or education.
• Experience working with K–12 students and classroom management experience.
• Driver’s license and Certified Health Education Specialist certification.
• Technology literacy, flexibility, and strong organizational skills.
