Financial Business Transformation Lead - Projects (Finance)

Location: Remote - Oregon

Salary: $135,000–$165,000 annual

What you will do

• Lead business analysis for complex cross-functional initiatives across finance, MGA operations, and premium accounting.
• Shape scalable future-state solutions and prioritize work based on business value, risk, and urgency.
• Bridge Finance, Operations, and Technology while evaluating systems with business leaders, vendors, and project teams.
• Identify inefficiencies in systems and workflows and lead improvements to policies, processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Support month-end and quarter-end reporting cycles and ensure alignment with accounting principles and reporting accuracy.
• Create training materials for insurance and financial workflows and mentor analysts and associates.

Requirements

• College degree and 7–10 years of business or leadership experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in accounting and finance, including premium accounting and GAAP.
• Experience with process and workflow development, leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
• Basic understanding of full life cycle software development projects, structured project management, and programming concepts.
• Strong verbal, written, mathematical, consultative, and technical communication skills.
• Availability to travel approximately 5–10%.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent accounting certification.
• Insurance certifications such as AAI, CIC, or ARM.
