Business Analyst (Financial Services)

Location: Spokane, Washington, United States; initial in-office training followed by eligible workplace flexibility. Occasional travel may be required for all-staff or team meetings. Relocation assistance is available to eligible candidates who must relocate to accept the position.

Salary: $53,600–$81,000 annually for Business Analyst I or $60,000–$113,600 annually for Business Analyst II, plus an annual performance-based incentive target of 8% or 10% depending on experience.

What you will do

• Gather, articulate, and document business requirements aligned with intended business outcomes.
• Participate in process improvement, solution design, development, and testing sessions.
• Research and draft business cases supported by cost-benefit analysis.
• Implement business process and technical solutions that improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Analyze post-implementation adoption, identify gaps, and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Coordinate small to medium projects, maintain project portfolio information, and support reporting and change communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, information systems, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of business analysis or related experience, ideally in financial institution operations.
• Understanding of business case preparation, requirements elicitation, business analysis, and project management concepts.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and control assigned activities while learning new business analysis skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
