Senior Solutions Engineer (Auth0)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid, with two days per week meeting customers or collaborating in the Farringdon office

What you will do

• Discover customer and prospect requirements in the context of business outcomes.
• Partner with sales teams to progress opportunities from discovery through technical win.
• Create sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer education for developers, product managers, and executives.
• Build and deliver custom demonstrations and support customer-led proofs of concept.
• Maintain broad and deep knowledge of the Auth0 product line, identity technologies, and protocols.
• Participate in local and regional sales and marketing events and meet customers.

Requirements

• Experience in a pre-sales role such as Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer.
• Customer-facing experience in consulting, support, teaching, or pre-sales, with strong communication and business-value articulation skills.
• Experience with at least one identity protocol, such as OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, or LDAP.
• Development experience with at least one backend stack such as Java, C#, Node, Python, PHP, or Ruby, and a frontend stack such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience with REST APIs and SDKs, plus knowledge of application security topics including password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, and XSRF.
• Ability to work around the London office and spend two days per week meeting customers or collaborating in the office.

Nice to have

• Experience with identity and access management, single sign-on, and API-based solutions.
• Understanding of Agentic AI and the role of identity in continuous oversight.
• Mobile development experience with iOS or Android.
• Experience with HTTP, HTML, browser developer tools, curl, or Postman.
