Senior Automation QA Engineer (C++)

Location: Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania; remote or office work

The role supports a security-focused engineering team working on a large on-premises healthcare product.

What you will do

• Design and implement automated tests for security-related changes.
• Validate fixes against security requirements and test input validation, injection protection, and similar attack scenarios.
• Perform automated functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Verify that security changes do not break existing application functionality.
• Reproduce, analyze, and document defects while working closely with developers during resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into development and release processes and contribute to the QA approach for the security backlog.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing automated tests for complex software products.
• At least 1 year of hands-on C++ experience.
• Experience testing desktop or on-premises applications, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Ability to test security-related scenarios, including input validation and injection protection.
• SQL knowledge and experience validating database-driven workflows.
• Strong analytical, debugging, defect investigation, communication, and collaboration skills; spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Qt-based desktop software.
• Oracle Database experience.
• Experience testing mature or legacy applications.
• Security testing experience.
