Shift Self Sustaining Technician (Product Development Testing)

What you will do

• Coordinate and execute product development test plans, test sequences, and directed tests.
• Operate, maintain, set up, and calibrate laboratory environments, equipment, and testing tools.
• Monitor equipment during operation, identify malfunctions, and provide timely resolutions.
• Record test data, analyze results, and prepare engineering reports with actionable findings.
• Conduct component, product, and material tests against safety and compatibility standards.
• Manage purchase orders, checkbook requests, asset management, and lab compliance documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma in engineering, business management, or a closely related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in testing, validation, or administrative work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication tools.
• Familiarity with equipment calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, validation tools, and laboratory administration.
• Ability to work on-site in Penang, Malaysia, on Shift 1.

Nice to have

• Experience operating testing and backend equipment, IC assembly processing, or metallurgy tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including compiling engineering data and reporting progress.
• Decision-making, multitasking, leadership, teamwork, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
