Manager, Advisory Services: Financial Transformation - Revenue Cycle (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; travel 61–80% within the US is required

What you will do

• Lead revenue cycle performance improvement workstreams covering patient access, coding, billing, collections, denials, and cash operations.
• Direct analyses of accounts receivable, denials, coding, charge capture, and EMR workflow performance.
• Develop and implement revenue capture and cost reduction strategies to reduce leakage and accelerate cash flow.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, deliverables, and quality assurance.
• Present findings, recommendations, financial impact, and outcomes to client revenue cycle and finance leaders.
• Mentor project staff and contribute to practice development, business development, and technology initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of applicable experience, including revenue cycle operations in patient access, coding, billing, denials management, cash operations, or revenue integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with healthcare finance, operations, strategic or decision-support consulting, and cross-functional team leadership.
• Ability to conduct data-driven analyses, create presentations, lead client interviews, and communicate recommendations effectively.
• Ability to translate revenue cycle requirements into EMR and technology workflow design or configuration needs.
• Ability to work remotely while traveling 61–80% within the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience optimizing or implementing EMR and revenue cycle platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
• Certification in a major EMR platform, such as Epic.
• Master’s degree, RN or other clinical professional license, or PMP/Lean certification.
