Market Development Advisor (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, but must reside in Illinois. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $94,900–$130,500 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Advise the Provider Services Director on strategic and day-to-day operations, including provider relations, claims education, engagement, and performance improvement.
• Establish KPI and metrics infrastructure to support compliance with managed care contractual requirements.
• Develop and maintain the market Provider Support Plan and complete required Illinois state reporting.
• Manage provider communications, including content development, approval workflows, emails, bulletins, fax communications, websites, and provider portals.
• Lead provider training, education, materials development, process improvements, workgroups, and standardization initiatives.
• Support new-market implementation and Medicaid LTSS/HCBS provider journey initiatives in partnership with corporate and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Must reside in Illinois.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 6+ years of related experience in provider relations or engagement, provider communications and education, or health plan operations.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• Experience working in Illinois Medicaid and solving complex business problems through strategic prioritization.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, oral communication, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
• Understanding of managed care contracts, contract language, and reimbursement.
• Familiarity with LTSS/HCBS providers or DSNP/Medicaid-Medicare integration.
• Health plan operations experience in a matrixed environment.
• Project management certification.
