Senior Policy Consultant (Healthcare Policy)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates in Washington, DC or Austin, TX may choose a hybrid arrangement. Preference is given to candidates working in the Eastern or Central Standard Time Zone.

Salary: $125,000–$180,000 base annually, plus eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of healthcare legislation, regulations, coverage, reimbursement, and benefit design.
• Monitor and interpret federal and state policy developments affecting pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare clients.
• Manage project workplans, timelines, resources, deliverables, and budget support across multiple workstreams.
• Prepare analyses, client materials, and presentations, and participate in client meetings.
• Translate analytical results into clear summaries and actionable recommendations.
• Mentor Associates and Senior Associates while supporting project-level coordination and quality standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in consulting.
• Experience modeling the effects of legislation and regulations affecting pharmaceutical manufacturers.
• Recent experience in legislative, regulatory, or government policy environments, including healthcare policy analysis, monitoring, or stakeholder engagement.
• Deep understanding of drug pricing, including Inflation Reduction Act negotiation policies and Most Favored Nation proposals.
• Advanced Excel-based quantitative modeling skills; experience creating interactive Excel tools is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work full time in the United States; employment sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as MPH, MS, MBA, PharmD, or PhD in a relevant discipline.
• Experience creating interactive Excel-based tools for client decision-making.
