Location: Remote within the United States; South East territory with 60–70% domestic travel
Salary: $134,615–$201,250 annually, plus incentive opportunity

What you will do
- Educate healthcare providers and office staff on access, coverage, reimbursement, claims submission, coding, and prior authorization requirements.
- Analyze payer criteria and provide product access expertise to healthcare offices.
- Coordinate with patient support hubs on individual cases, enrollment, and support services.
- Collaborate with field sales, specialty pharmacy accounts, and internal matrix partners.
- Execute territory plans and provide internal feedback on local payer trends and access issues.
- Resolve patient-specific coverage challenges and manage daily field-based stakeholder activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience focused on payer policy and reimbursement.
- 3+ years of experience with benefit verification, prior authorization, patient access, billing, and coding in rare disease.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, consultative, organizational, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 60–70% and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of the US healthcare payer and billing system.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services policies and processes, especially Medicare Part D.
- Experience in a Buy and Bill reimbursement environment.
- Nephrology experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
