Senior Technical Support Engineer (Compression) (Rotating Equipment): Leading troubleshooting and root cause investigations for compressors and ancillary systems supporting major Middle East clients with an accent on technical client advising, field performance testing, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on resolving complex equipment failures, validating instrumentation and controls, and training field engineers and client personnel.
Location: Dammam, Ash Sharqiyah, Saudi Arabia; local and regional travel of approximately 30% required.

What you will do
- Act as the primary technical advisor for major Middle East compression accounts, including Aramco, Qatar Gas, and ADNOC.
- Lead complex compressor and ancillary-system troubleshooting and root cause investigations using FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, Kepner-Tregoe, and 5 Whys.
- Coordinate internal and external technical experts across client sites, Product Integrity, and Core Technology teams.
- Provide technical input to Sales, Bid Management, and Service teams for proposals and service strategy.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, method statements, and equipment records.
- Train junior field service engineers and client personnel in maintenance and troubleshooting practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
- 15+ years of hands-on experience with rotating equipment design, factory acceptance testing, controls and package design, commissioning, maintenance, and field troubleshooting.
- Expertise in root cause analysis and complex equipment failure resolution.
- Strong knowledge of dry gas seals, compressors, couplings, bearings, vibration monitoring, and site performance testing.
- Experience validating instrumentation and controls during startups and overhauls, including precision measurement.
- Fluent English and willingness to work flexible hours, travel locally and regionally, and support urgent client needs are required.
