Principal Structural Design Engineer - Offshore

What you will do

• Lead structural design and advanced engineering analysis for offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, subsea structures, and floating systems.
• Perform global and local analyses covering in-place, loadout, lifting, fatigue, strength, buckling, and earthquake conditions.
• Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and project documentation.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet technical requirements, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate with piping, instrumentation, mechanical, electrical, architectural, pipeline, and geotechnical disciplines.
• Support fabrication, installation, offshore construction, and structural integrity management for brownfield assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 10+ years of offshore structural engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and API, DNV, and ISO offshore structural design codes.
• Proficiency with SACS and Staad.Pro.
• Experience with FEED, detailed engineering, and brownfield modifications.
• Understanding of offshore construction and installation methods, with strong communication, leadership, and technical report-writing skills.

Nice to have

• Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer certification (CEng/PE).
