PI / Cyber Underwriter, Financial Lines

What you will do

• Underwrite new and renewal Financial Lines business on e-trading platforms.
• Assess risk using financial reports, company information, proposals, claims history, and broker discussions.
• Build and maintain broker relationships, including through broker events, while providing timely and proactive service.
• Support product development, thought leadership, annual Financial Lines strategies, and e-trade business growth.
• Maintain accurate underwriting system data and provide monthly management information on submissions, bind rates, and premiums.
• Operate within underwriting authority, ensure contract certainty and fair customer treatment, and meet regulatory and risk-management requirements.

Requirements

• Some underwriting experience, preferably in Financial Lines, PI, D&O, or Cyber; relevant professional experience may be considered instead.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to underwrite within agreed decision-making standards, limitations, and authority.
• Willingness to work primarily in the Manchester office.

• Experience with Acturis or another online underwriting platform.
