Engineer 1 - Start Up (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Vimercate, Italy; customer-site work mainly in Italy and across Europe, with 50–70% international travel.

What you will do

• Support the installation and start-up of new and used 200 mm semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
• Support 300 mm equipment when required.
• Follow technical procedures to ensure correct installation actions and maintain high quality and safety standards.
• Build effective relationships with customers and internal teams through daily communication and collaboration.
• Support customer satisfaction and contribute to the growth of the semiconductor industry.

Requirements

• High school diploma or completed professional technical training, such as mechatronics or electrical/electronic engineering.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Strong customer orientation, communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Good proficiency in English and good IT skills, including MS Excel.
• Availability for business travel within Europe and internationally, with willingness to work shifts when required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while following safety, quality, compliance, and information-security requirements.
