Senior Revenue Accountant

What you will do

• Apply revenue accounting principles and hirify.global policies to determine appropriate revenue treatment.
• Own assigned product lines, including revenue recording, reconciliations, reviews, reporting, and related balance sheet transactions.
• Partner with Billing, Collections, Sales Operations, and FP&A to support accurate revenue reporting.
• Perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and audit support schedules.
• Prepare documentation and respond to internal and external audit requests concerning revenue accounting judgments and balances.
• Support process improvements that increase close efficiency, reconciliation quality, reporting accuracy, and control effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting.
• CPA or a similar accounting qualification.
• Knowledge and experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition, account reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Confidence using business systems and processes, including Excel, CRM, and ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with consistent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Four or more years of accounting experience in the SaaS or technology sector.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Zuora Revenue, or similar accounting, CRM, billing, or revenue management platforms.
• Experience contributing to critical projects or process improvement initiatives.
• Experience with AI tools or a genuine interest in learning and applying AI technologies.
