Security Consultant (Operational Technology)

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India; hybrid with 2–3 days in the office

What you will do

• Design and implement security solutions for client IACS and OT/ICS environments using recognized security standards.
• Support security maturity, framework, and risk assessments, then develop prioritized mitigation plans.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other OT components.
• Participate in OT security incident response with client engineering, operations, IT, SOC, and security analyst teams.
• Evaluate OT/ICS security technologies, monitor industrial environments, and validate findings against known asset and process behavior.
• Prepare client assessments, risk summaries, mitigation plans, status updates, lessons learned, and pre-sales materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, automation engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of IT/OT security experience, including at least 2 years focused on OT security.
• Familiarity with OT/ICS monitoring solutions such as Claroty, Microsoft Defender for IoT, Dragos, Nozomi Networks, Armis, Industrial Defender, or Forescout.
• Strong knowledge of IACS architectures, OT protocols, and security frameworks including ISA/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, and NERC CIP.
• Experience with OT security framework and risk assessments and tools such as CSET.
• Ability to work collaboratively in client-facing roles.
