Senior Product Designer (Fintech)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with most team members in the office two days a week.

Salary: £4,420–£6,600 gross per month, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead complex product initiatives from problem framing and discovery through design, validation, delivery, and post-launch iteration.
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to shape product direction and balance customer value, business goals, and technical feasibility.
• Design clear, accessible, and trustworthy financial journeys across web and mobile, including flows, wireframes, prototypes, interfaces, specifications, and edge cases.
• Plan and conduct user research, usability testing, concept testing, workshops, experimentation, and product analysis.
• Contribute to the design system, improve consistency between design and production, and use AI-assisted tools responsibly while protecting customer privacy.
• Mentor designers, communicate decisions through evidence and storytelling, and improve the efficiency and quality of design processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products in cross-functional product teams.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership, strategic product thinking, strong UX/UI craft, and measurable impact.
• Advanced interaction and visual design skills, systems thinking, accessibility awareness, and strong product judgement.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, prototyping, component-based workflows, and design systems.
• Experience using qualitative and quantitative evidence, selecting research methods, and evaluating outcomes.
• Fluent English language skills, with strong communication, facilitation, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience designing fintech, payments, banking, SaaS, or other complex and regulated digital products.
• Experience designing for customers across different countries, languages, financial literacy levels, or accessibility needs.
• Experience with complex data, experimentation platforms, product analytics, design tokens, Code Connect, or code-backed prototyping.
• Experience building AI-assisted workflows, prompt libraries, design-review practices, or rapid prototyping approaches.
• Experience contributing to product strategy, roadmap discussions, or cross-team initiatives.
