Export Control & National Security Officer (Aviation)

Location: Donauwörth, Germany; site-based role with mobile working and flexible working options available where possible.

What you will do

• Define Export Control and National Security classification rules and manage the Tech Rater network.
• Ensure export-control license management for ESA activities and lead the Data Governance work package in the Idefix project.
• Lead strategic decisions for the Tech Data Product Policy and prepare decision proposals and action plans for management.
• Serve as the central Aviation Safety focal point, cascade safety culture, and classify hazards under Safety Management Systems.
• Coordinate operational teams, Procurement, IT, Legal, Security, and senior management across Germany, France, and Spain.

Requirements

• Completed university degree.
• Several years of professional experience in Support & Service activities.
• Strong knowledge of Export Control and National Security regulations and classification rules.
• Experience in Aviation Safety, including AH directives, processes, and technical competencies related to ESA activities.
• Proven experience in complex project management, transversal management, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Negotiation-level English is mandatory.
